Lisa Gascoine is a West Norfolk-based artist inspired by the natural world and the individual character of animals. Her work focuses on capturing the essence, emotion, and presence of wildlife, creating pieces that encourage a deeper connection with each subject.
Working across charcoal, graphite, pastel pencil, and mixed media, she combines expressive mark-making with fine detail to explore texture, atmosphere, and personality. More recently, the introduction of colour has added a new layer of energy and expression to her practice.
At its core, her work is a celebration of the beauty, strength, and quiet vulnerability found in the animal world.
